The University of Barcelona (UB) is located 20 minutes walk from our Xior Lofttown residence. The main national and international rankings place the University of Barcelona among the two hundred best universities in the world and as the best in Spain. It also stands out for its employability, services and academic and teaching quality, its educational offer, excellence in research and its urban and cosmopolitan character, all of which make the UB a benchmark institution.

The Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) is located 20 minutes by metro from our residence in Xior Lofttown. It is a public university located in the city of Barcelona that is among the top 200 universities in the world, and ranked in the best international rankings. It has 7 faculties and a school of Engineering with eight departments: Economics and Business, Law, Political and Social Sciences, Humanities, Experimental and Health Sciences, Information and Communication Technologies, Communication, Translation and Language Sciences. 

The Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) is 25 minutes by bus from the Xior Collblanc residence, is a public university of research and higher education specialised in the areas of engineering, architecture, science and technology, one of the leading polytechnic universities in Europe. It has a high level of employability for its graduates and is one of the best positioned in the most important international rankings.

Blanquerna, Universitat Ramon Llull is a non-profit institution and co-founder of the Ramon Llull University, the first private university in Catalonia. Blanquerna offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in the fields of education, sport, health, communication and international relations and is located 13 minutes away from the Xior Lofttown residence. It appears in the most prestigious national and international rankings: QSWorld University Rankings, CYD Ranquing, U-Ranking, U-Multirank, Times Higher Education Rankings or The Young University Rankings. 

EU Business School is a high-level private and international business school with campuses in Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux, Munich, which is located 15 minutes away from the residence. The school’s professors and staff cooperate in the excellent business education of the students. They also collaborate with reputable international business and educational associations to improve the quality of education in this field and to further develop the university’s programmes.

Mediterrani Escola Universitaria has official university degrees in the fields of Tourism, Marketing and Logistics, and also offers CFGS in Tourism Accommodation Management and in Marketing and Advertising. Approximately 7,000 alumni of the school hold positions of responsibility in prestigious companies. It is 20 minutes by metro from the residence hall.

Elisava, the Faculty of Design and Engineering of the University of Vic is an educational centre of design and engineering that promotes education, knowledge and research in undergraduate, Master’s, postgraduate and specialised courses in these areas. This faculty is located 15 minutes by metro from our Xior Lofttown residence. 

La Salle Campus Barcelona, Universitat Ramon Llull This campus is part of one of the best known international education networks (La Salle). It has institutions in more than 80 countries and is a founding member of the first private non-profit university, Ramon Llull University. This institution has a practice-oriented training, the student is in contact with the professional world and the business environment, an important factor for an immediate incorporation into the labour market. This campus is located 20 minutes by train from the Xior Lofttown residence.
